Frank Sinatra - In The Wee Small Hours
I have never once before actually sat down and listened to anything Frank Sinatra, and I have to say, I LOVE him. I always love lyrical music that involves an actual orchestra in it. It's the most wonderful touch and compliments Frank's voice perfectly. This is the type of music that makes me just sway back and forth (usually not at the right times) and get a strange nostalgic look on my face as I reminisce over my stupid crushes and failed relationships from the past. I know, I'm only in high school and it's only going to get worse, but even if I'm not as experienced in the relationship-department, it still makes me think about having that type of connection with someone that makes you feel like that. I can especially relate to "Mood Indigo" because what teenager doesn't feel completely alone from time to time? That's why I'm loving this album right now. Because it really makes you feel something and is still beautiful and well thought-out.

Welcome
Welcome all to my little musical experiment. I recently stumbled upon (haha pun intended ;D) Rocklist.net's 1001 albums you must hear before you die and decided to use this as an opportunity to try out some blogging skills. For every new week I will listen to a new album or two from this list, which starts in the 50's and goes on into the early 2000's. We'll see how far this takes me.
